The placement of the artwork amidst the great drought
In the scorching month of July, the artwork is positioned on-site, awaiting attachment to the reinforced concrete pedestals specifically constructed in anticipation of the Po River floods. In the artist's design, it is crucial for the artwork to be anchored to the mainland; the artist has collaborated with specialized technicians appointed by the Municipality of Suzzara to ensure the correct procedures for doing so.
The river's flow is at historically low levels with severe consequences for the environment. However, this drought has provided the project with additional time to proceed with the mooring in the most precise manner in the months following its definition.
