Appearances

Like paint drops
At the shipyard, work is underway to assemble the elements to create the deck structure. "Welding nails" are created at predefined points. The elements of a hull structure must be connected to ensure structural continuity, but above all, to ensure the transmission of forces and tensions due to loads from one element to another. In the case of Sweet Home, autogenous welding was carried out with filler material of the same nature as the base material. The result: all alike, all different in an organized dripping. A series of elements arranged orthogonally as per technical drawings but individually assuming a constantly different appearance, fascinating because they are the result of the fusion of metals with a particular coloration of the steel overheated, exhibiting a dominant silver and gold.

These momentary appearances have enriched the construction process.
